WEAKNESSES: Even though she doesn't show it, Giselle gets angry quite easily. She's also very impatient, and doesn't like it when things doesn't go as she planned. This can be quite a problem, because she can't think clearly when angry, and instead ends up rushing things.
Also, she can be over-obsessive with things or people sometimes, to a point where it is not healthy.
Physically, she's terribly weak. Most of the time you can see her struggling to open a bottle of water, until she finally gives up and ask someone else to do it for her.

STRENGTHS: Determined and straightforward, Giselle is likely to do anything she can to get what she wants (no matter the consequences). She has her goals set in her mind, and knows well what she wants from life. Even though she's physically weak, she makes up for it with a strong mind (when she doesn't get angry and screw everything up, that's it) and an even stronger spirit. You'll probably never see her give up on something, and if she were ever to fail, she just would start over and over again until she get the desired outcome.
Highly intuitive, can easily get someone personality just by talking with them.

PERSONALITY: Though she act cute, childish and simply adorable, you should not be fooled. Giselle is manipulative, greedy, and has several issues with power. To her, people are her little toys and she can play with them as much as she wants, in any way she wants, until she's tired. Of course, should the toy rebel, she wouldn't be exactly amused.
She's not violent, but as manipulative as she is, she knows very well how to make people fear her. Should she feel the need to destroy your life, be sure she'll send you anonymous threats everyday, stalks you, and go on until you have a mental breakdown. Knowing her target would make her more dangerous; as she'll probably hit the weak spots when she wants to (For example, if someone had their parents murdered, she would find reports and photos of the murder and send them to her target).
It should be already quite clear that Giselle is possibly a psycho. Unfortunately it is not really easy to tell, as she hides it quite well unless you make her go L5 for whatever reason (refusing to continue being her little toy, for example). As I said earlier, she generally acts cute and childish, and even though it is obvious she's not stupid at all, most of the time the impression she make is the one of a girl who beared a tragic and sad past, and hides her suffering behind a childish behavior and a cute smile. Of course, she plays this role quite well.
She does have some good points, though, and she has a bright (academically speaking, at least) mind and a great love for science. She believe knowledge must be achieved at all costs, and she's ready to do anything for science (yes, she's obsessed with science too).

BACKGROUND:
Born and raised in Englad, Giselle was born from an english father and a japanese mother. Even as a child, she was manipulative and didn't hesitate to use her cuteness (or everything else) to get what she wanted.
Of course, as I child, it wasn't strange, and her parents had always found it rather cute instead.
Being daddy's sweet little girl, she always used to help him out at work and quickly it became obvious Giselle was much more smart than other children her age; she could easily learn and understand things his father was working on. For a six years old girl, that was more than amazing.
Happy and proud of their daughter, Giselle's parents chose to give her the best education out there, and spoiled her even more.
Things drastically changed when one year later, Delaine Amie, his brother, was born.
With a newborn around, she couldn't get the attention she previously had anymore. Also, because they were running out of money, her parents chose to put their daughter out of school and tutoring her home instead. She wasn't under the spotlight anymore.
This was a big shock for Giselle, and as her bright mind became such a standard and usual fact for her partents, she didn't get the flattery she always had before.

As she grew up, while perfectly hiding it, she begun to hate his little brother. She was terribly jealous, and she couldn't get the fact that a little child needed more attention. Considering her mom also started to actually scold her whenever she did something wrong, she convinced herself that Delaine stole their parents' love from her. Being able to get a college degree at age 14 didn't help either (in her mind, her parents were obviously proud of her).
Things slightly changed when, shortly after that, they moved to Japan: his father was going to work for a very important medical research. Even though she was so young, she was permitted to be her father's assistant because of her academics achievements.
Feeling as working shoulder to shoulder with her father would improve things, she happily started her new life.
When she in Iwatodai, however, while working late with her father they both discovered about the dark hour (being able to experience it), things got worse. She begun to obsess over it; she wanted to know what it was and why not everyone could experience it.
Scared about it and knowing her obsession was anything but healthy, her father quickly told her to stop, and that because things started when they moved to Japan they were soon going back to England.
She couldn't accept it. Giselle knew that resolving the mystery of the dark hour was her destiny, and she wouldn't have let anyone interfere with her, especially not her father, who neglected her for a brat. It was at that time that her persona awakened, and she killed her father using a spell. Technically, it was an accident as her anger didn't let her control her powers (she didn't even plan about summoning her persona, after all she didn't knew about their existence), but she wasn't sorry about it at all: instead she hid her fathers corpse to a place she knew he wouldn't be found, not soon at least, and then wrote a piece of paper on his behalf, saying he was leaving his family.
The very next night, she chopped her father's corpse into pieces and with the dark hour's favor, she hid the pieces in different places.
Even though she knew people would have never suspected her for killing her father (after all, a persona was her weapon), she wanted his family, especially his little brother, to feel abandoned and angry towards him.
Her plan worked out, sadly, and she got to play the role of the poor girl who was abandoned by her father.
Unfortunately for her, though, this made her mom particularly protective over Delaine, and she became more and more jealous; to the point she swore revenge.
Waiting for it, Giselle did her very best (succeeding) at looking like the perfect, cute big sister and daughter, and while the family still had a few problems, it was a happy one.
She finally made her move on her 19th birthday: she waited for the Dark Hour and killed her. This time, however, she didn't have time to dispose of the body: she got suddenly attacked by a non-human being, something she didn't had time to look at as she quickly became one of the Lost.

On December 10th, Giselle recovered from her Apathy Syndrome, and now she's free to L5 on everyone.
